watched a

few episodes of star trek, I would like to add Im not a fan, as i have done over the years. I find it very strange the whole idea of other colonies of humans living throughout the galaxy as there is no real proof of anything existing the vast expanse of space. This does not however mean that it isn't possible just there is no proof and is therefore hard to imagine. But what is easy to imagine that if aliens had obtained a few copies of the original series then would they laugh at us? Would they look upon the technology and feel that is it out dated. The stun guns which are used are a forgotten technology that they once used.
On the other hand they may look at a recent version with huge ships that house thousands of humans inhabitants, yet they are confused they have not seen these, maybe its a different colony, I have no idea if earth is portrayed in star trek or its a different planet and earth has been destroyed, will they think the same?
The cling ons are an easy race to pick out in star trek, we have had numerous encounters and battles with them in star trek, to us the cling ons are an imaginary race, however if the creator of a cling ons happened to wander into a seedy bar and got himself a spiked drink then man handled into a space craft where cling ons just sat and stared at him in amazement then got bored and flew away, but he manage to remember vividly the facial characteristics of a cling on, then a cling on would in fact exist.
The existence of cling ons in the galaxy would be one that would presumably send a shiver down the spines of any other race that is not more superior of that so by Re-creating them and making them the fall guys in many episodes would send out a message that we are a race of people not to be messed with preventing a strike that would wipe out humanity.
